Our Services
Our commissioning services are based on robust, realistic and well-documented plans that consider every action needed to finalise the project. This approach guards against unexpected problems and delays, ensuring that target dates for putting the new plant into service are reliably and consistently met.
We consider verification and calibration to be integral elements of the commissioning process, and these steps normally take place at the later stages where we conduct the full integration testing. Among other things, we check the cabling against drawings, we assess the reliability and accuracy of instruments and we make sure every single pump, valve and actuator operates to specification.
Because we’re a specialist system integrator, we can be depended upon to cater to the full lifecycle of your application, from the drawing board and all the way to end-of-life decommissioning.
We have extensive experience of working in demanding sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics manufacturing, and we fully understand the searching requirements of these industries. Furthermore, we partner with the best installation companies, which enables us to deliver even the most complex stainless steel and cleanroom applications.
Our electrical installation team has delivered numerous projects in cleanroom situations and its members have proven experience in dealing with the many challenges involved. For instance, when providing decommissioning services, we offer swift and clean operations – saving our customers thousands of pounds on the cost of clean up after decommissioning.
At our headquarters in the West Midlands, we have our own in-house manufacturing facility for stainless steel control panels. We also boast strong partner links with mechanical process companies and fabrication companies for stainless steel fittings and fixtures of the highest quality.
Our plant offers punching, stud welding, laser cutting and bespoke stainless steel cutting. Cable marking printers, device marking capabilities for all electrical components, as well as laser cut labels are just a few of the long list of capabilities we can deploy to the benefit of our customers.
At CPN we are committed to working with our customers to develop and deliver the best possible solutions. We take a holistic approach, looking at all aspects of a project, taking into account safety, quality and performance requirements, standards compliance, budgets and target timescales.
We pride ourselves on adopting the very best engineering practice, whether your key requirement is cost, ease of maintenance or a long lifespan through the use of proven technology – or all of these!
Our engineers have the expertise needed to design projects in phases, so even if your plant is currently in use for trials, we can work around the restrictions this creates and ensure that disruption and loss of production is kept to an absolute minimum.
We offer full lifecycle capabilities – from design, construction, installation and commissioning to maintenance, decommissioning and end-of-life disposal. What’s more, all of our services are accompanied by robust documentation to the highest standards, including those of the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
At CPN, we recognise that every new or existing application comes with its own challenges for users. This is why we have created a series of training packages, which can be delivered in-house or at our customers’ premises. The seminars provide educational, informative and practical sessions for all levels, and can include training for operators, maintenance technicians, engineers and managers.
We also offer data integrity training, which gives our customers a thorough understanding of how best to keep their company data secure throughout the whole project lifecycle.
Our tailor-made training and support services give users the knowledge they require to use and maintain the equipment we have supplied with confidence. Our goal is to help our customers to rapidly and efficiently diagnose, fault find and ultimately remedy any problems that may arise. This type of training has the benefit of building a very valuable bond between our customers’ maintenance technicians and our engineers – which will produce benefits for years to come.
To create the perfect learning conditions we often use a purpose-built simulator. This enables users to develop key competences before they even get to work on the actual application, thereby avoiding costly errors and potential downtime.
Our unique approach at CPN Systems is to encourage close involvement of our customers at every stage of a project, and we’re always happy to explain as we go along!
